Morning Mist

The other day I woke up to morning mist and there were tiny beads of water on everything. All the plants out front were so sparkly, I had to take some shots! Unfortunately I didn’t have my macro lens with me but I was still able to capture some cool images. These were taken in my parents’ yard. We are staying with them for two months until we move into our condo. We are renting for a while. But the new place has a pool! I’m so excited! I am already planning a container garden for the balcony :) IMG_0556 IMG_0560 IMG_0563 IMG_0566 IMG_0568

We Are Moving

Justin, Shenan and I are moving back in with my parents to save some cash and we are renting out our house starting June 1st. If you need our updated mailing address, please contact me and I will email it over to you.
I have big dreams and I’m simply tired of spinning my wheels. Life was becoming too redundant for my liking. I was not happy with our living location. I want better things for my baby girl. I’ve been working the same job for going on four years now, and I am ready for a change. However, jobs are hard to come by so that aspect of my life is not changing right now. I’m still a product photographer, and I don’t mind it. I’m still shooting weddings, and portraits on the side. You will probably be seeing lots of baby pictures on my blog now that I have my own little munchkin to photograph!
I want to build my own house. I want to own a little bit of land somewhere beautiful. I’m hoping for Madison County, Virginia. After all, our baby girl is named after the Shenandoah’s. Justin and I both would love to have a small farm. I love gardening. We love being outside and growing our own food. We simply cannot grow much in my ten foot patch of land in front of our Baltimore rowhome.
Although I owe a lot on my current mortgage, I need a change… NOW. So, we will be staying with my parents where Shenan will have a yard to play in and I will have a veggie garden to play in ;) I’m simply putting my dreams in motion. No putting it off any longer! I plan to update my blog more often as well. The only thing I will miss… my Iris flowers (see photos below). But, I was smart enough to transfer some of them to the hill in front of my parents house so I can enjoy them a while longer.20130504_150449
